The Jurij Fiore and daughter winery originated in Lamole, a quaint village nestled within the municipality of Greve in Chianti, situated in the province of Florence. Perched at approximately 600 meters above sea level, Lamole is a diminutive yet historically significant locale, although modern times have seen a decline in its population. Despite this, the viticultural heritage of the region stretches back to ancient Roman times. Terraced vineyards, meticulously carved into the hillsides, intermingle with stretches of chestnut and oak forests, along with the traditional cultivation of iris flowers.
