COS Frappato 2023 – Terre Siciliane IGP, Sicily
A vibrant and fresh 100% Frappato from COS, grown organically in Vittoria’s red soils. Fermented and aged in concrete tanks with native yeasts, this wine bursts with aromas of wild strawberry, cherry, and subtle cinnamon spice.
On the palate, it’s light to medium-bodied with crisp acidity, polished tannins, and a refreshing umami-saline finish. This unoaked red is pure, lively, and expressive of its Sicilian terroir.
Produced by Azienda Agricola COS, pioneers of biodynamic and minimal-intervention winemaking since 1980, it’s perfect for pairing with charcuterie, light pasta dishes, or enjoyed simply on its own.
