A refined and expressive Aglianico, it offers a compelling bouquet of ripe cherry, plum, and wild strawberry, accented by hints of cedar, Mediterranean herbs, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it’s balanced and structured, with juicy dark fruit framed by vibrant acidity and fine-grained tannins that lead to a lingering, elegant finish.
Sourced from 22-year-old vines grown at 500–600 metres on calcareous clay soils in the Montemiletto area, this wine reflects the Ferrara family’s deep heritage and commitment to quality, with roots in viticulture dating back to 1860. The Ferraras remain dedicated to expressing the unique terroir of Campania through meticulous vineyard management and traditional winemaking techniques. Fermented in stainless steel and aged 11 months in oak barrels, it beautifully captures the terroir and classic character of Irpinia Aglianico. Ideal now with grilled meats, aged cheeses, or hearty pasta, it will also reward 5–8 years of careful cellaring.
