A benchmark expression of Greco from one of the region’s most revered single vineyards, it is both powerful and precise. Aromas of white peach, lemon zest, and crushed herbs meet mineral notes of flint, wet stone, and sea spray. The palate is textural and focused, delivering layers of ripe citrus, orchard fruit, and salty minerality, framed by bright acidity and finishing with the grape’s hallmark bitter almond lift.
Sourced from 1.5 hectares of 15–60-year-old vines in San Paolo di Tufo, this wine is the flagship of the Ferrara family estate, grown on volcanic and clay soils rich in sulphur at 500 metres elevation. Aged on fine lees in stainless steel, it reflects the family’s commitment to purity, terroir, and longevity. One of Southern Italy’s great whites, Vigna Cicogna is equally suited to refined seafood dishes, white meats, or cellaring for added complexity over the next 5–8 years.
