Collection: Raymond and Stephane Usseglio
Francis Usseglio migrated from Italy to Rhone in 1931 and established his own winery in 1948. His two sons, Raymond and Pierre, also created their own estates, with Pierre taking over the family estate and Raymond establishing his own winery. Today, Stephane, Raymond’s son, manages 18 ha of vines in Chateauneuf-du-Pape and 5 ha in Cotes du Rhone across the river. 50% of their vines are planted in the famous La Crau vineyard, with the remaining vines situated close to the ancient castle of the Pope. The vines are on average 60 years old, with some more than 100 years old. Raymond was also one of the earliest producers to bottle his own wine.
All the vineyards are farmed sustainably, biodynamically, and organically.
