From vines over 30 years old in the Liscone vineyard, set on volcanic soils of Mount Vulture. Fermented with skin contact in stainless steel for about 15-20 days, then aged in used French tonneaux for 8-12 months (depending on the vintage). The nose offers dark fruit and floral aromas; the palate is medium-full-bodied, structured, with elegant tannins and lively freshness. Ripe black cherry, blackberry, and plum, lifted by notes of violet, wild herbs, and a touch of spice.
