Deep ruby with a black core. Roasted, smoky aromas of redcurrant, with a nuance of cherry brandy. Supple, lush and sweet, but with surprising acidity and a chalky quality providing energy on the palate. Finishes with velvety tannins, displaying notes of coffee and toffee.
