Domaine des Prevelieres is an organic 25-ha estate in southern Beaujolais. It has been in the Morel family for generations and is now run by brothers Gaetan and Quentin. The estate is in Oingt, one of France’s most beautiful small towns. The hilly terrain of southern Beaujolais ( in this case TERRE DOREES ) has varied soils from limestone clay to granite, reaching altitudes of around 450m. The Domaine is certified organic and the brothers use natural yeasts and spontaneous fermentation, making them some of the most natural producers in the region. The region of Terre Dorees is currently under review to become its own Cru appellation.
