Deep yellow. Pineapple, nutmeg, Thai basil and a hint of banana on the nose. Dense and juicy with pungent floral flavors of peach and apple showing an attractive touch of sweetness lifted by sound acidity. Refined and light on its feet, finishing with good, persistent sweetness. The grapes were kept overnight in the fridge and crushed at 4–5°C to help save aromatic precursors in what was a very warm, dry year. This will be out in November and bottled with the Stelvin.
"Les Crêtes was born in 1989 in Aymavilles under the impulse of Costantino Charrère, who with foresight and determination gave birth to one of the most important oenological realities of the Aosta Valley. Constantine’s contribution was providential to renew the Aosta Valley viticulture and raise it to an international level.
