Darker side of Sangiovese in its blue/purplish fruit. Lavender, spice and menthol nuances meld together in this pliant, super-expressive Chianti Classico. A wine of power and density.
"The Jurij Fiore and daughter winery was born in Lamole, a small village in the municipality of Greve in Chianti, in the province of Florence.
It is a very small town located at about 600 meters above sea level, which modern times have largely depopulated, but whose winemaking tradition has been rooted since the times of the ancient Romans. The terraced vineyards, painstakingly cut out on the hillsides, alternate with chestnut and oak woods and the traditional cultivation of iris, a variety of iris. These areas, characterized by sandstone soils, enjoy excellent exposure and a particular microclimate and are considered among the best in all of Tuscany for the production of splendid Chianti Classico, known for their marked fragrances and refine taste.”
